I love these photos, too! Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to meet Ethel & Mabel. I do have a photo of Ethel Rhodes Dovey later in life. She was an RN and after retiring, became a nanny (servant) to a well-off family in Vancouver BC--which seems odd because she was from a prominent family herself!! Ethel and her sister Mabel are buried in the Ross Bay Cemetery in Victoria BC.
