Thanks, Barb! I believe the pic was taken shortly after the business opened. My grandfather worked for General Appraisal from 1911 until about 1952. Hard to believe anyone could stay employed with the same company for that long!

I like the way the women's skirts show the transition women's clothing was going through So many different lengths!
