Tombstone Tuesday: The Grave of LINDLEY M WHITECOTTON Logan Co AR

LINDLEY M WHITECOTTON was the brother of my great great grandfather, JAMES MONROE WHITECOTTON b 1825 AL.  They were the sons of MOSES WHITECOTTON born about 1804 prob Knox Co KY and HAPPY (last name unknown).

LINDLEY M WHITECOTTON was born March 7, 1823 in AL? KY? TN? ;  he married Susan Horn, and lived for a time in Bledsoe Co TN. He died Jan 27, 1889 Logan Co AR. He fought in the Civil War in AR,  first for the Confederate army & then the Union army! Children were : Eliza Jane Whitecotton, David Whitecotton, Joseph Soral Whitecotton, William Harvey Whitecotton, James Monroe Whitecotton, Isaac J Whitecotton, John Henry Whitecotton.
